Chaco itinerary

3 Days/ 2 Nights

Day 1 – Friday - Asunción / Cruise

Welcome on board and check in at 18:00. Meeting the crew and guides who will describe the different activities to be developed during the trip. Accommodation. Starting navigation through the Paraguay River at 19:00. Paraguayan Folkloric night during dinner while tasting our French style cooking enriched with typical local ingredients.

Day 2 – Saturday - Cruise / Riacho/ Villa Hayes

At dawn we reach one of the branches of the Paraguay River. Photo safari in special boats accompanied by our guide who will help in the interpretation and observation of the great variety of birds and the typical flora of the region. Breakfast on board to continue navigation to the city of Villa Hayes. We will visit this city whose main activity is the iron and steel industry, visiting the museum and having the opportunity to see the work of the craftsmen of the zone. When returning to the boat, we will taste a special dinner, the Captain’s Special Night.

Day 3 - Sunday – Typical Ranch of the Chaco / Asunción

After breakfast, we will cruise to a typical ranch of the region named “Estancia”. You will experience its rural way of life walking in the nature, resting under the trees or other activities as fishing or canoeing. Our biologist will join us in the different chosen activities as photo safaris or horse riding. Lunch on board and rest of the afternoon free to try exotic drinks, enjoy the swimming pool or the beautiful landscape from the Chaco area.

Arrival to Asunción 18:00, check out and disembark.
